Mural

The fresco originates from Lyngby Church, in Brabrand near Aarhus, a church which during the Middle Ages belonged to the Benedictines in the Ring Monastery. The church dates from the first half of 1100s.
The fresco, with the detailed and unique cavalry battle scene, dates from between 1175-1200.
