Information
Boar Spear
The winged hunting spear is known back from the 400s. They evolve
into the winged lance used from horse by the Francs.
After the 13th century, the winged lance evolves into different types
of polearms, but one version keeps the original shape, and it is used
for the hunting of wild boar.
The boar spear is again, in the early 1400s, taken up and used as
weapons. It is treated in combat manuals equally as other polearms
and was often depicted as a defense against cavalry.
